When Vancouver poet Aaron Chan came to me for new author headshots, I had a vision for the light I wanted to use for the shoot. I hoped to time it perfectly so that the lowering sun would shine up False Creek and into Strathcona, lighting up the trees on Union Street with that golden-hour glow. AND IT WORKED.
Love these images, especially that film depth and film colour. Can’t get enough of that film depth and colour.
