I had the pleasure of joining Michael of Pollywog Tees for a round of screen printing and brand photos recently, and I’m really into how moody these turned out.
Using the available light in a given space is one of the best ways to capture the mood of that location (location and surroundings are among the most important pieces of any story!) and it’s also a creative challenge. You’ve got to look for the best light, get close, move around, experiment. There’s no one-setting-fits-all, so you have to consider the light carefully for each frame.
The high contrast, dim light and rich colours of the Blim printing space fit perfectly with the colours Michael chose for the shirts and the inks. And you know I’m a sucker for photos of good tools.
These will be up on Michael’s website once it launches and you’ll be able purchase your very own Pollywog tee, so keep an eye out!
